The show is on Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 at the Kendall Showground.
The Camden Haven Show holds a special place in the hearts of the community, having maintained its rural charm and agricultural focus.
Children will have the opportunity to set off the fireworks by entering a colouring-in competition, run by the Camden Haven Courier.
Publicity officer Elizabeth Watson said unfortunately the 2018 event will not have as many rides, as \
However she said there is still plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy, including traditional games such as egg and spoon races, sack races, tug-a-war, pie-eating, pony rides and a bucking bull.
There will also be slides, jumping castles, show bags and a variety of food options.
As well as being show publicity officer Elizabeth is also a needle steward and keen baker. She will enter some of her goods in the show for judging.
Elizabeth has coeliac disease and plans to enter the slice, biscuit and muffin in the gluten free category.
She will also enter some meringues and her famous melting moments into the regular category.
Elizabeth’s melting moments are a hit with her family.
“The key is to use real butter,” she said.
“I can’t tell you anything else because it’s a secret family recipe.”
The recipe has been passed down through the generations and Elizabeth has shared it with her daughter.
“My daughter’s husband enjoys them as a treat,” she said.
A few years ago Elizabeth was awarded the best cook sash.
Her advice to people who enter the baking competition is to read the rules, make sure they submit entries on time and be adventurous with flavours.
A motorcycle stunt show will be on Saturday night, while Sunday will feature a number of highlights including a demolition derby and pet parade.
Across both days there will a number of vehicles on display, art, photography, handicrafts, needlework, baking, jams, flowers, home brew, fruit, vegetables, pot plants and creative arts.
