The two teams had been the benchmark throughout the season with a number of close matches.
The match was tight all the way through the game until the Nuffins ran away with it during the last quarter.
Some strong defence by Kendel Ward really made the difference with the Wauchope side hanging on to a six-goal lead at half-time.
Kate Baker showed some really good form through the centre, feeding the ball into the circle for Faye O’Neil and Chloe Kirkman to take many shots at the hoop.
Wauchope were undefeated throughout the entire season with the win in the grand final capping off a remarkable three-year run.
They have made two of the last three finals and will hope to carry that winning momentum into next season.
Congratulations girls, a well-deserved win.
