Brigade captain Kingsley Searle says information covering local knowledge, completing a bushfire survival plan and membership details will be available.
The information stand will be strategically placed at the Settlement Point ferry on Saturday, September 22 from 9am until 2pm.
"We are a very supportive community on the North Shore and we will be calling on people to join up and help out," he said.
"The brigade currently boasts some 25 members but we really want to have 30 to 40 members signed up.
"Increasing our membership strength just helps spread the work around.
"You can join and be involved in many aspects of our brigade, including taking care of the fire shed, washing trucks, manning barbecues ... there are plenty of jobs."
Mr Searle said Saturday's Get Ready Weekend will also focus on how to complete a bushfire survival plan.
He says all residents on the North Shore should have a plan done and dusted before the fire season really starts.
"Fire season is coming and looks like being a particularly severe season ahead," he added.
The North Shore event is just one of many being held over the weekend as RFS brigades look to strengthen membership.
