Hundreds of people enjoyed the sun and community spirit as The Lost Plot community garden in Port Macquarie rolled out the green carpet for its annual Spring Fair.
The gardens were in full bloom while the delicious smells of homemade treats and freshly cooked woodfired pizza made from locally grown ingredients filled the air.
Tours of the garden were conducted by The Lost Plot volunteers while the kids enjoyed discovering hidden gems and learning where their delicious vegies come from.
At two gardening workshops participants learned how to brew tea from weeds as well as how to make a rich blend of potting mix.
The community garden is a constantly evolving space and volunteers are always welcome.
If you would like to become a volunteer go the garden’s Facebook page or email info@thelostplot.org.au.
