Entrepreneur friends Jazmin Butler and Marley Nasso are raising money to help our farmers living in drought one batch of slime at a time.

The pair, both 10 years old, wanted a way to pass the time at their brothers soccer games and decided making slime was a good idea under the name MJ,JM Slimes.
“We are friends because our brothers play in the same soccer team and we had to go to their gala day a couple of weeks ago,” Jazmin said.
“We love making slime and we thought it would be a good idea to sell it and give all the money to the farmers who are currently doing it tough in the drought.
“The day went really well and we made $260.
“We donated the money to Coles who were matching drought fundraising efforts in August so we were able to donate over $500 to the farmers.”
At the soccer gala day the pair actually sold out of the slime and had to make more.
“We didn’t realise how much slime people would want to buy, and we ran out of the first batch and we had to go and buy more supplies,” Marley said.
“At the end of the day we had sold more than 50 packets of the slime and we are still getting orders.
“We make all different kinds of slime and it depends on what ingredients you mix in to get the different kinds.
“We also can add extra things to the slime like glitter, paint or sand to make them all a bit different in terms of texture.”
The pair also said their favourite kind of slime to make is fluffy slime and if your slime does begin to break down you can bring it back to life.
“The more shaving cream you put in the mixture the fluffier it is and we think that is the best kind,” Marley said.
“Slime is supposed to be sticky so if it dries out you can add hand sanitiser,” Jazmin said.
“Slime also doesn’t like the heat so probab;ly don’t keep it in the sun.”
