The year 9 Hastings Secondary College Westport campus student will head to Sydney for a week-long camp during the school holidays.
That stint will culminate with a performance at the Enmore Theatre.
Sasha was selected after submitting a two minute monologue. There were over 100 applications from across NSW for the 24 positions.
Her drama teacher Hellene Underwood described Sasha as naturally gifted with a strong stage presence.
"Sasha has the potential for drama and is continuing to develop her skill set," Ms Underwood said.
"She certainly has a passion and love for acting. She just lights up on stage and has really good comedic ability.
"The monologue was to showcase her skills, character development, use of voice and actor-audience relationship."

Sasha said she was particularly looking forward to the week-long series of workshops.
"The final performances are going to be pretty cool but I am really looking forward to the workshops," she said.
"It is going to be really good to mix with the other students who also like getting on stage.
"While it is probably too early to think about a career in drama, sharing a common interest with the other students is going to be pretty cool.”
Ms Underwood said current year 12 student Nicole Steer attended the ensemble in 2017 and has given a few tips to Sasha.
"These sorts of experiences can catapult a student further forward," she said.
"Drama is a good platform for many endeavours later in life.
"Sasha will certainly benefit from this experience."
The state drama ensemble is for year 9 to 11 students from state schools.
