A 38-year-old Thrumster man was formally refused bail and remains in custody on a string of charges after the matter was heard in Port Macquarie Local Court on Thursday August 9.

Adam Timothy Smith was not required to appear before Magistrate J Price.
Smith is charged with reckless grievous bodily harm; attempted kidnap and threatening a person with the intent to influence a witness; demanding property with menace; assault occasioning actual bodily harm; two counts of possessing a weapon without a permit; three counts of possessing a prohibited drug; six counts of supplying a prohibited drug; goods in custody; dealing with the proceeds of crime; supplying a prohibited drug in a commercial quantity, and contravening a weapons prohibition order.
Smith's arrest follows the execution of a search warrant in a residential area of Thrumster on August 1.
Strike Force Addax was established in January 2018 by Mid North Coast Police District investigators to target OMCG activity across the region.
At 11.30am on August 1, Strike Force investigators, with the assistance of Raptor North, executed a search warrant at a home in Thrumster, west of Port Macquarie.
Police will allege Smith is a high-ranking member of the Finks OMCG.
A second accused, Skye Julie Smith, also fronted court on Thursday August 9.
Skye Smith was charged with knowingly taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug and two counts of possessing prohibited drug.
Smith pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
Magistrate Price continued bail.
Smith is scheduled to reappear in Port Macquarie Local Court on September 19.
