Meteorologist with weatherzone Lachlan Marr says the overnight temperature into Monday will be a warm and comfortable nine degrees.
"There is some good cloud coverage hanging around so that minimum temperature on Monday will be fairly warm," he said.
"The July average minimum temperature is 6.5 degrees.
"Monday's maximum temperature will be a pretty settled 20 degrees, and this will continue through to about Thursday.
"But that's where the warm minimum temperatures end. Tuesday's minimum will be just one degree while Wednesday's will be slightly warm - but still chilly - at three degrees."
Thursday and Friday's minimum temperature will jump back to a relatively warm seven degrees.
The maximum temperature for Friday and Saturday will be 22 degrees.
With generally sunny conditions throughout the upcoming week, there is also very little chance of rain, Mr Maher said.
This is due to a forecast high pressure system lingering over the region, he said.
The wind forecast will see quite gusty conditions later in the week, peaking around Friday afternoon and Saturday evening.
Twenty five kilometres offshore the winds speeds will be quite significant, Mr Maher added.
