Detectives believe they may be linked, and are asking anyone with relevant CCTV footage to contact them.
They are also investigating the theft of a gold 1997 model Nissan Patrol, with a Queensland number plate, 424 TIL. It had a toolbox on the back, and was taken from outside a house at Timbertown estate in Wauchope.
“We are investigating possible links between these break-and-enters on Saturday night and Sunday morning, and the theft of the Nissan Patrol,” said a police spokesman.
“Office equipment was stolen from some of the childcare centres. We are appealing for witnesses, and also for people with relevant CCTV footage, to ring Port Macquarie police station on 65830199, or use the confidential Crimestoppers number.”
