The Ninja Warrior will be hitting the Glasshouse stage in four weeks time and young people across the Mid North Coast are in the final push to fundraise for their tickets to attend.
Jack was part of the Indigenous Marathon Project in 2013 and shot to fame in his Budgie Smugglers on our screens last year. His goal is to be the first winner of Australian Ninja Warrior.
His vision is to inspire, educate and encourage our Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people to achieve their goals and believe anything is possible. Port Macquarie youth are busy working towards their fundraising goals to secure a seat at the most inspirational summit on the Mid North Coast.
Jessica Shelley has fundraised for her ticket to attend Luminosity for three years in a row. She said she has never looked back.
“After my first year I made a promise to myself that I would do everything in my power to go every year until I turn 25.”
Jessica received a generous donation from Saacks Orthodontics to reach her goal.
“I have been a patient at Saacks Orthodontics since the age of seven and decided to ask businesses I had a personal connection with,” she said.
“The reason I have kept going back to Luminosity every year is because it’s an amazing experience. It’s the inspirational speakers that continue to draw me back,” said Jessica. “The energy at Luminosity inspires you to take the first step outside your comfort zone! Once you have taken that step there is no turning back. It’s addictive.”
Jack Wilson’s energy will be put to good use to inspire young people from the Mid North Coast. Attendees are encouraged to seize opportunity, take calculated risks and push past perceived obstacles to overcome the fear of failure in pursuit of their purpose.
Luminosity Youth Summit will be held July 25-28 at the Glasshouse Port Macquarie.
If you know a young person who would like to attend, or a business who would like to sponsor, tickets are $295 visit luminosityyouthsummit.com.au
