She will be among a stellar line-up of speakers at this year’s event which is designed to inspire young people to be the best versions of themselves and dream big.
The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is throwing its support the Summit as a presenting partner.
The forum brings together an array of inspiring speakers and high-profile guests to encourage young leaders across the country to explore dangerous ideas for success, igniting creativity, excellence and entrepreneurship, and foster purpose and well-being among youth.
MNCLHD chief executive Stewart Dowrick said the local health district was very proud to be the presenting partner for Luminosity, and to support future leaders from the mid north coast and beyond.
“I am particularly pleased to see that our own Dr Angela Jay, who is a White Ribbon Advocate, is a guest speaker at the event this year,” Mr Dowrick said.
“Young people have an important role to play in ensuring that we eliminate violence in our community, and I am pleased to see that an event such as Luminosity is committed to this.”
Luminosity Youth Summit organising committee chair Kate Wood-Foye said the Summit was lucky to have fantastic support from local businesses and organisations.
“We are very grateful for the ongoing support of the MNCLHD,” Ms Wood-Foye said.
“Without their generosity we couldn’t make this amazing event happen.”
