The two sides clash following a two week break, which included the Bush versus Beach representative round.
The Shamrocks are eager to take home the Shield from the current holders.
As part of the Old Boys game, the Shamrocks will welcome a number of their sponsors to the ground.
There will also be time to remember Eric Waldron, a favourite son of the Shamrocks.
Ray Witchard described Eric as a 'great friend and supporter and Beechwood Rugby League Football Club life member.
"Eric played for Beechwood from 1964 to 1973, playing in excess of 120 games (which may have been more if not for backing up for Wauchope Reserve Grade on many occasions)," he said.
"Eric played in four grand finals, taking out three premierships, captain/coach in 1968 when he broke his leg.
"Eric played under 18s for Wauchope in 1963, winning the grand final, whilst playing many games for Wauchope reserves under portability to Beechwood. Eric never made it to first grade.
"He eventually became president of the Beechwood club from 1963 to 1983, continuing to serve the club for many years until recent illness overtook him.
"His service to the grounds trust has resulted in many improvements, most recently the current sound system.
"Eric was also president of Hastings District Rugby League, also gaining life membership."
Meanwhile the Beechwood club has started planning for the 100th year of competition for the Shamrocks and the Hastings League.
A meeting on June 2 at the Beechwood Hotel included several old boys and the current Shamrocks executive where a working committee was formed to organise the celebrations.
