The club's junior members have started an equipment drive to send a netball package of shoes and gear, to Votua Lai Lai - a small village in Fiji.
Club president Linda Dewbery said the support to donate to the village had snowballed.
"Our club received some new gear bags and some of the players thought it was a good idea to donate these to a worthy cause," she said.
"Then one of young players said that she had received a new pair of netball shoes and wanted to donate her old pair.
"We put that idea to the club and before long we had donations coming in to support the cause.
"It just snowballed from there. The effort is gaining tremendous support from the 'littlies' within the club," she said.
Mrs Dewbery said the club wants to promote netball - and sport generally - to those who may not necessarily have access to the right equipment.
While the idea is generating plenty of interest and support within the club, they have hit one hurdle.
"We are desperate to find a sponsor that can help the equipment drive even further," Mrs Dewbery said.
"With the netball package that is being put together we will need someone to cover the costs of transporting it to the destination.

"If someone out there that can help us, we would love to hear from you."
Mrs Dewbery said the club's registered juniors have donated around 50 pairs of joggers, 10 sports bags and some balls to the cause.
She said local business Sportspower has thrown their support behind the push and will be donating enough pairs of socks to go with the shoes that have been generously donated.
"They have also offered to donate some more equipment, including balls, too," she added.
Port Combined Netball Club is a small, non-profit sporting group with mainly junior registered players. The club's membership is about 200 players and ranges in age from 8 years to 18 years.
"I am really proud of how the club had gotten behind this idea. I like to think of us as an all-inclusive club," she added.
