Kids aged 5-13 are able to participate in the exciting event along Town Green and the breakwall which will be a mini version of what the elite athletes will take on, on May 6.
The race begins on Saturday at 9am with check-in from 7.30am to 8.45am at Town Green.
There are three events kids can take part in, the 500m Family Wave, the 1500m for kids aged 7-10 years and the 3km for kids aged 11-13 years.
The Family Wave is a new addition in 2018 whereby kids aged 5 or older can compete with an adult over the age of 18.
The event is all about promoting a fun family environment with parents and loved ones cheering on young participants along the course.
