For many people, the lifestyle on the beautiful Mid North Coast is just a dream.
After commuting here for the last 10 years, moving here has just become a reality for WolfPeak’s Director Steve Fermio.
With improvements to the Highway and a faster internet service, the time is right for businesses such as his to make the move.
The WolfPeak team have been working behind the scenes on some integral projects for this region, most notably the Pacific Highway around the Coffs Harbour area. Amongst many others, they also work for TransGrid.
They provide advice and leadership in the areas of environment, natural resources and sustainability and can help with environmental assessments including REFs and SEEs.They provide environmental management to help prevent water polution, minimise dust and noise pollution.
They also work with developers to help protect and obtain offsets for flora and fauna impacts and can help any company that has an industrial development or large residential property developments in this area.
They can help businesses avoid the risk of being fined or even prosecuted by carrying out audits and regular inspections. If you’re running a factory, they can review your operations and provide practical advice on how you can avoid falling foul of the EPA or local authorities. It’s all about doing due diligence.
If your business is getting complaints about noise or dust levels, they can help you monitor this. It’s not an expensive process, but it can save a lot of headaches in the longer term.
The twelve-strong WolfPeak team are based in Sydney and now can also be found on the High Street of Wauchope. The team comprises of environmental and earth scientists, policy advisors, environmental engineers and planners, natural resource managers, sustainability specialists and environmental auditors.
Further down the track, they plan to employ more local people. As the region’s infrastructure continues to be heavily invested in, there will be more projects in the area to be involved in.
