“This year we have extended the exhibition time while artists are reminded that they have until March 10 to lodge their entry forms.
“It is just a matter of days away,” Mrs Cooke said.
The annual Easter Art Exhibition has a proven record of attracting work by leading artists, not only from Port Macquarie and the Hastings but far beyond.
All art works in the exhibition – and there will be over 200 pieces – are available for purchase.
Following the official opening night, the exhibition will be open each Sunday and will coincide with the opening hours of the popular Hamilton Green markets. The exhibition is also open by appointment.
This year’s exhibition features six sections – Section 1, Open cartegory; section 2 watercolours; section 3 pastels; section 4, contemporary; section 5, drawing; and, section 6 non-competitive section.
Along with major sponsor, Port Macquarie News, other sponsors include Northcorp, adenbrook homes, Lighthouse Beach Holiday Village and Priest Legal.
