To make things worse for them, the midwives put them back in her room so they could spend time with their baby, which meant they had to go passed all the rooms with new mothers and babies.
The walls are so thin my niece heard a baby cry and she broke down(her words).
Port Macquarie Base Hospital needs to have a grieving room.
That room should not look like a hospital room and it should be soundproofed. It should also be entirely separate from the other mothers and their babies.
In my opinion, it is cruel for any mother and father to face this, and then to see and hear new babies is a kick in the heart.
