According to meteorologist with weatherzone Brett Dutschke, Monday looks mostly sunny but there will be some cloud about at times.
“That cloud does look like bringing the odd shower to the region,” he said.
“Port Macquarie looks likely to pick up just one millimetre of rain today (Monday, November 20) while there will also be showers to the south and inland at Wauchope.
“This evening could see a fairly equal chance of showers right across the region though.”
Mr Dutschke said Wauchope had ‘a good chance’ of picking up closer to five millimetres of rain today.
The maximum temperature today should be between 24 and 25 degrees which is slightly cooler than the average for this time of the year.
Tuesday’s weather forecast looks very similar, the weather forecaster said.
“The showers tomorrow are most likely in the morning and, once we get to they afternoon, they will be more confined to the elevated inland areas including Wauchope,” he said.
“Port Macquarie looks set to get close to that one millimetre mark again too.
“However, Tuesday will become sunnier on the coast in the afternoon.”
Winds could reach between 20 and 25 kilometres per hour but offshore could be slightly higher at 25 to 30kmh (10 to 15 knots) each day.
“It will not be particularly bumpy with seas up to one metre,” Mr Dutschke said.
