The case continued on October 18 in the Port Macquarie District Court where the matter was adjourned for sentencing on October 25.
Allan George Matthews from Glenn Innes was charged with four offences including causing grievous bodily harm to person with intent, possess/attempt to prescribed restricted substance, reckless grievous bodily harm and removing tissue from the body of another without consent/authority.
Police allege Matthews surgically removed the left testicle of a 52-year-old.
