Funds raised are going towards projects and educational resources for the school and its students.
Everyone in the greater Port Macquarie community is invited to attended the bi-annual fete that is not only about raising funds for the school but giving parents a little fun with their children at the same time.
From 10.00am until 2.00pm, families can enjoy pony rides, sweet treats, refreshments, arts and craft, games, face painting, plants, jumping castle, pre-loved treasures, chocolate wheel, raffles and more.
“Our main fundraising focus this year is to install a COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area) over the netball court,” said one of the organisers, Katie Wilson.
“This area is used for multiple purposes and it will ensure that the area can be utilised in all weather conditions. This year, we have fantastic raffle, chocolate wheel and side show alley prizes on offer thanks to the local and wider business community.”
Hastings Public School Principal Jodie Paterson said the support the local community has shown has been tremendous.
“We encourage as many people as possible to come along, support our school at this event and have a great family fun day out,” she said.
