This is enhanced especially by the provision of shower facilities. We all heartily say thank you.
Now each Monday the Wauchope Neighbourhood Centre offers bread and other foodstuffs, thanks to REAP. Those in need will be able to enjoy a barbeque meal at the Country Club and freshen up.
Each Tuesday a tasty lunch is served by the Anglican Church in Cameron Street and Wauchope Uniting church offers a hearty meal each Friday from noon until 1.30pm in the hall. Goods from REAP are also available at this time.
Opportunity shops are run by Lifeline, Legacy, Salvation Army, Anglican Church and the St Vincent de Paul, all offering a great variety of goods to help all in need.
I am sure our community already knows this, but let’s thank all who are giving a hand to the homeless, disadvantaged, lonely and elderly in Wauchope.
If you are able to give a hand by volunteering at Friday Community Meals please ring Carol, 0488 525 600.
