He was born at the Port Macquarie base hospital at 3.48am on May 14, weighing 3.6 kilograms and measuring 54 centimetres. Aston is the second son for Gemma and dad Robert Gardiner.
“He spontaneously arrived two days before his due date and we are so blessed that he couldn't wait to surprise me with his arrival on Mother’s Day,” Gemma said.
“His big brother Riley absolutely adores him. Aston will share the love with a large extended family.
“A big thank you to birthing and maternity ward at Port base hospital for great support. They are a great team, and a special thank you to Jessica Cunningham for a early morning call out to capture such a special moment with photographs I’ll treasure forever.”
His proud grandparents and great grandparents include: Renee and Charlie Hancock, Ian Gardiner, Des Mullins, Lorraine, Bill, Bev and Richard of Port Macquarie.
