The NRMA’s Bowser Buster ranks the weekly average unleaded petrol and diesel prices for over 50 locations in NSW and including Canberra from cheapest to most expensive.
The average price of diesel in Port Macquarie for the week ending March 12 was 135.9.
The ranking and price is the same for the week ending March 5.
It was cheaper to fill up with diesel in Wauchope which had an average price of 130.6 and was placed at position 28.
Temora was the cheapest place to fill up with diesel with an average price of 125.9.
Gundagai was placed at position 57 and the most expensive for diesel with an average price of 136.9.
For unleaded petrol Port Macquarie had an average price of 136.1 and was placed at 30 out of 57 places.
Wauchope was ranked at position 32 with an average price of 136.5.
Maitland was the cheapest place for motorists to fill up with unleaded petrol with an average price of 120.6.
Forster was the most expensive place to fill up with an average price of 142.4.
