Wauchope Vets Open Day is on this Saturday, February 25, from 9 to 12noon, not in March, as reported last week.
WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
Friday March 3 at 7pm in St Matthew’s Anglican Church at Cameron Street in Wauchope, followed by supper. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.
The World Day of Prayer focuses attention on one country each year, and is written by the Christian women of that country, as they reflect on their country, their lives and challenges. This year, the service has been prepared by the women of the Philippines. The theme: “Am I being unfair to you?” is based on the reading from Matthew’s gospel, chapter 20:1-16.
More than three million people from 170 countries, and of all Christian traditions will join in prayer and contribute to a project in their country.
