President Peter Gerathy has put the call out for promising junior players aged 13 to 18 to pull on the red and white of the club in season 2017.
Plenty of vacancies exist in all age groups and all levels and abilities are welcome to join the coasts most successful rugby club.
Gerathy said the club wanted to continue its success from the last couple of years which has seen grand final appearances become a regular occurrence.
“The last couple of years our under-18s have made the grand final every year,” he said
“Our under 14s have only been going for a couple of years, but they’ve made the grand final in all of those years as well.”
The Pirates president said “as you can see, our junior program has been quite successful.”

“Last year a lot of our 18s turned 18, so there are a few vacancies in that team.
“We also have a great lineup of current and ex-players who have been taking up coaching roles within the club.”
The Pirates will host player registration day on Thursday February 23 at the Stuart Park clubhouse from 5pm til 6:30pm.
