The club is one of eight which plays in the national futsal equivalent of the Hyundai A-League.
Mid Coast Futsal development officer Allison Fazzolari said the two young players had the world at their feet.
“I sent them off to trial for the squad originally to see where our futsal league was in relation to everyone else,” Fazzolari said.
In being selected in the 18-man squad, the teenagers will alternate between the Gold Coast and Port Macquarie where they will undergo a rigorous training program.
“They’ve been with us for about four years so it’s nice to see the benchmark and how we compare.”
Anderson and Battiston made the list of future players in the under-15 team.
Galaxy FC is a representative based club which has amalgamated five of the elite clubs in the south-east Queensland and Far Northern NSW regions.
Port Macquarie is one of the final locations which the club can call on to fill their teams.
The club’s vision is to be the most successful and most recognised futsal club in Australia.
They intend to market their brand to the wider community and engage all demographics and cultures within those communities and to expose them to the sport of futsal.
