It is there that they gathered to meet new friends, become informed and to be inspired by some remarkable people.
This year has already been confirmed as the largest, with 280 youngsters registering to be apart of the Luminosity.
Apart from Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Taree, students have travelled from Sydney, Toowoomba and even the Gold Coast.
The summit is hosted by The Apprentice winner Andrew Morello. The first talk for the year was by entrepreneur and founder of The Entourage Jack Delosa.
That was followed by founder and head of relations for the Tremarkables Group, blogger and influencer Lorraine Murphy.
She addressed the energetic crowd with tips about how she became so successful. She said youth leadership is one of her passions.
“It’s my first time here and it’s so much fun. There’s so much energy in the room,” she said.
“I see, in my team, how valuable it is when someone has a really great mentor and how much that can affect their career for the better.
“I have had a lot of mentors and a lot don’t even know they are mentoring me. Whether I read their books or watch their talks, I think it’s important.”
Lorraine said she wanted the kids to gain a better understanding of themselves.
“I’d love the kids to understand that anything is possible,” she said.
