A MAN is in a critical condition after a serious four vehicle crash on the Pacific Highway on Sunday.

About 8.50pm, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway at Blackmans Point, following reports of a crash involving four vehicles.
Police have been told a white Holden Commodore attempted to overtake a B Double truck whilst travelling northbound and collided head on with a Black Fiat in the southbound lanes.
The white Holden Commodore has then hit the side of the B Double truck, trapping the driver.
The Black Fiat has crossed to the northbound lanes and collided head on with a white Hyundai.
Officers from the Mid North Coast Local Area Command, NSW Fire & Rescue, SES and NSW Ambulance Paramedics attended the scene.
The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 32-year-old man, sustained serious injuries. He was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Port Macquarie hospital in a critical condition.
His 37-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Port Macquarie Hospital.
The driver of the black Fiat, a 33-year-old woman and a 5-year-old girl sustained minor injuries and were taken to Port Macquarie Hospital. Three other passengers were uninjured.
The driver of the truck, a 36-year-old man, was uninjured. He was transported to Port Macquarie Hospital for mandatory blood and urine.
The driver of the white Hyundai, a 22-year-old woman, and a female passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to Port Macquarie Hospital.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
