SUNDAY June 26 is William Tyrrell’s fifth birthday. It will also mark 654 days since his disappearance.
To recognise his special birthday, and to raise awareness of William, the Where’s William organisation have urged the community to host a Where’s William? Cake Stall.
Where’s William? Committee member Karlee Butler will host a stall at Port Central all day Sunday.
They will be selling a range of cupcakes, slices and merchandise such as caps to continue the awareness about William.
Money’s raised will be donated to the Where’s William? Campaign dedicated to bringing him home to his family.
Campaign Managing Director Clare Collins said they would also encourage people to change their social media profile and cover images to a Where’s William? image.
“We urge those who know something, anything to come forward. We know that somebody knows what has happened to William,” she said.
“We know that somebody holds the key to finding William and we hope that whoever you are, soon you will find the courage to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
“You don’t have to reveal who you are. What we want you to do though, is reveal what you know.”
Anyone with information about William’s disappearance is urged to come forward via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
