The Beechwood Cricket Club and Beechwood Fishing Club will host a charity cricket day at Sancrox from 8.30am to 5pm.
Eight teams of seven players will fight it out in the knockout competition, which is all in the name of charity.
Organiser Darren McCudden said he was pleased to be involved in the fundraiser as he has plenty of experience pulling together charity cricket days.
McCudden has been responsible for the Beechwood Sevens Charity Day for the past 19 years.
"Both the cricket club and the fishing club are proud to get behind this event, for such a vital cause," he said.
Plenty of sixes and some great catches will feature on the day, but there will be lots of action off the field too.
A nearest the pin competition, longest throw challenge and 100 metre dash will be run throughout the day, along with raffles.
Meanwhile, Beechwood will feature in second and third grades for the Hastings River District Cricket Association competition this season.
The club will also have under 19s and under 13s teams.
If anyone would like to join the club, phone Mr McCudden on 0412 135 130.
