The popular family owned business now called Grumblin' Tummyz, has had a massive makeover, both inside and out, thanks to new owners Belinda McLean and Matt Byrne.
And the changes don't stop there.
Mrs McLean, a qualified chef, brings more than 20 years experience in the food industry and has her sights set on offering local produce and hearty meals that have been sourced locally.
"Our menu is totally different," she told the Gazette.
"We have lots of fresh, healthy food like salad rolls, BLTs, Turkish bread toasties and man-friendly sushi (without raw fish)."
Their gluten-free chips have also been a hit, since opening on September 12, especially sprinkled with flavoured salts such as Cajun, chicken or lemon pepper.
The new business name, Grumblin' Tummyz, is definitely unforgettable.
"We wanted a fun name, so Grumblin' Tummyz it is," Mrs McLean said.
"The budha painted outside is big and fat and is also meant to bring good luck, so that's how we named it."
The three months of renovations have definitely paid off, with a lick of paint inside and out, new flooring, benches and an exhaust system.
The store now has a fresh, clean and inviting feel and on the counter, you'll find delicious rawganic sweets, which are made each day by one of the couple's friends and are gluten, dairy and sugar free.
If you haven't already, make sure you pop in and welcome Belinda and Matt.
The business is located at 178 High Street and is open 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm Saturdays and 10am to 2pm Sundays.
