EIGHT goals to Matt Lill put an extraordinary exclamation point on the end of a fantastic game of Aussie rules from the Port Macquarie Magpies on Saturday.

The Magpies smashed the Coffs Breakers on their home turf the score was 22.11 (143) to 9.2 (56) and in the process booked a spot in the AFL North Coast grand final next weekend.
Blake Nelson kicked a hat-trick to go with Lill's eight goals. Brice Hayward, Alf Ablett, Kyle Lynch and Max Lower bagged two each and Tim Bauer, Dylan Beasley and Dylan Cameron had singles.
The Magpies started strongly, booting 31 points to the Breakers' 12 in the first term.
They put on another 39 in the second quarter, 35 in the third and 38 in the fourth to run away with the match.
Lill was an obvious standout, but club stalwart and under 18s coach Craig Carroll said those who played behind him were also stars on the day.
"He was spoon fed by the midfield," Carroll said.
"But, no matter how you look at it, eight goals is a great haul."
Lill came back into the team alongside Jesse Schmidt and Alf Ablett.
Schmidt had got off a plane from the States to the Gold Coast on game day before driving down to Coffs Harbour.
He had a quiet day thanks to a bit of jet lag, but Carroll predicted Schmidt would be back at his best for the big game next weekend.
