The highway had been closed in both directions following the accident near Auld Close.
While all lanes are open, traffic through the area remains heavy so motorists are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time until the delays ease..

The Pacific Highway has reopened to southbound traffic at Valla on the State's Mid North Coast after a serious car and truck accident.
But the highway remains closed to northbound motorists as emergency services and traffic crews continue working to clear the accident site near Auld Close.
Northbound motorists are still advised to avoid the area as no diversion is currently available.
Light vehicles that need to travel north can use the Oxley Highway from Port Macquarie to Bendemeer, then the New England Highway to Armidale, then Waterfall Way to Raleigh.
Heavy vehicles can use the New England Highway.
