With the eighth hole out of play, the ninth was split into two, a par four and par three. Adam Atkins eagled the 342 metre par four and Steve Smith aced the 150m par three.
The best ball winners were Peter Kable and Irwin Collett with 48 stableford points, two more than Bill Keech and Bob Taylor who were the runners up. Kable and Collett had a great back nine of 26 points which included a five pointer, a four pointer and three three pointers. Kable had nine points for the 16th and 17th holes.
Kable finished with 39 points and Collett had 36 points.
For the runners up Taylor made 39 individual points and Keech 31.
The father and son combination of Phil and Andrew Pye won the scratch score with a best ball of five under par.
Three players, Andrew Pye, Tony Hayward and Smith, made 40 points and Pye won the single event on a countback.
Playing from a handicap of one, Pye had a three under par round. He had 21 points out and 19 home.
Hayward had 22 out and 18 home to be the runner up while Smith had a back nine of 17 points.
The ball competition went down to 34 points on a countback and the nearest to the pins were won by Pye, Tim Harris, Bruce Farthing and Iain McKinlay.
