Reyne brought along the talented siblings Tracy (vocals) and Brett (guitar) Kingman as he played originals from throughout his career, with the odd cover thrown in.
Included on the set list was a version of Reckless which was more akin to Reyne's 1991 re-working on Electric Digger Dandy than the Crawl's 1983 hit.
It wasn't short on his former band's songs. Reyne played Downhearted, Errol and Oh No, Not You Again.
The song about him breaking both wrists after being hit by a car in Melbourne - Indisposed - got a run, as did Things Don't Seem.
Reyne co-wrote Way out West with James Blundell in 1992, and he played it on Friday night.
He closed the show with probably the Crawl's most famous song: The Boys Light Up, minus the iconic harmonica riff.
Reyne said he had to, or there might have been dire consequences.
"There'd probably be a riot in the car park," he said.
