They are a 16-year-old boy, who can not be named, and 18-year-old James Deeth.
Deeth is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
He appeared in Kempsey Local Court on Monday, where he was granted conditional bail. However, this was stayed pending a Supreme Court appeal by the police prosecutor.
The case was adjourned until November.
The 16-year-old was charged with murder and was to appear in a Children's Court on Monday.
EARLIER: Two teenagers have been charged over the death of a man in Port Macquarie's CBD in the early hours of Sunday.
The two males - aged 16 and 18 - were arrested and charged on Sunday night.
An 18-year-old man took himself to Kempsey Police Station about 2pm Sunday and was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
He was refused bail to appear in Kempsey Local Court today
Some five hours later a 16-year-old boy also attended the Kempsey Police Station, He too was arrested and charged with murder. He was also refused bail to appear in a children’s court today.
Police searched two premises in Dondingalong and South Kempsey and a red Ford ute and other items were seized for forensic examination. Investigations into the alleged murder are continuing.
Polie will allege that during a fight outside a bank in Port Macquarie about 1.40am on Sunday a 16-year-old boy produced a knife and stabbed a 25-year-old man in the chest several times.
The boy and his friend then fled the scene in a ute while several bystanders went to the injured man’s aid and attempted to revive him.
Paramedics treated him on Horton St but he died in Port Macquarie Hospital two hours later.
