Sitting atop the table, the Vikings have won 10 matches and lost just the one, with their mix of youth and experience working wonders for Coach Andrew Kable.
Led by the ever reliable David Tunstead up front, the Vikings have managed to shoot past their rivals and will again be out to impress this weekend in Coffs Harbour.
"The guys are travelling really well but obviously aware that after this weekend it's a new competition in the semi-finals," Kable said.
"We'll be concentrating on Saturday and then on the new competition next week where we will be taking on the Pirates."
While it may be easy to get complacent in the last game of the season and with top spot secured, but Kable isn't having any of it.
"I'm not worried about complacency," he said.
"Southern Cross haven't won a game yet this season but they will no doubt be looking to secure a win in their last game of the year.
"In reserve grade they are playing for a semi finals birth so they will most definitely be out to upset in both grades."
After stunning the Pirates the last time they played, Kable knows that they will be out for revenge next weekend but wasn't worried that it would affect his troops tomorrow.
"I'm sure the Pirates would be hurting from the last time we played them when we grabbed victory in the last minute of the match but the guys are purely focused on winning tomorrow," he said.
With a team full of talent, Kable was only happy to heap praise on one bloke who has stood up to be counted.
"Hamish McCormack has been a stand out performer for us this season," he said.
"He started the year in reserve grade but he got his chance in the top grade and he's killing it.
"So as much as the team has performed well as a unit and plenty of blokes have been sticking their neck out Hamish has been one of them."
