Terry Tighe was the stand-out for the visiting Port side, scoring his team's only points through two tries and two conversions, however it was certainly the Tigers' day.
Luke Reis kicked things off with a four-pointer in the opening five minutes before Tighe got the Sharks in front.
Mitch Williams then snatched the lead back for the Tigers before Tighe again edged his team ahead.
As the first half played on Comboyne lifted and before long it was 40-12 courtesy of tries to Dion Debreceny and two each to Jason Troy and Dennis Jones. Jones also kicked several conversions.
The second half started just as the first did for the Sharks, with the Tigers scoring through Jesse Jones.
Tom Mumford was the next to cross the white stripe before Blake Reis joined him just minutes later.
Try as they might, the Sharks were unable to match the intensity shown by their opposition and were letting points in easily.
Tolu Tuiaki, a second to Williams, Michael Schiffmann and Jesse Jones' second sealed the huge 78-12 victory for the Comboyne club.
