The club will battle it out on the greens with the Macquarie Hotel Social Golf Club to raise money for the Port Macquarie Women and Children's Refuge.
It's the third annual Good Friday Golf Challenge and since its inception in 2012, the amount of money raised has continued to increase.
Tacking Point Tavern and its social golf club hope to raise more than $1000 this year. Every dollar raised will be matched by the Tavern.
Tavern publican Barry McGahon urged everyone to get involved at the Port Macquarie Golf Club.
"No matter whether you can hit a ball or not, get your name down and enjoy this fabulous day," McGovern said.
"Once again the Tacking Point Tavern are very proud to be included in raising much needed funds for this worthy charity and are also very proud of our social golf club who put a lot of time and effort in to this day."
The Women and Children's Refuge in Port Macquarie provides crisis accommodation and support to women and their children, or single women, escaping domestic violence or in crisis.
The organisation assists in attaining goals through support planning for housing, legal assistance, Centrelink assistance and more.
Everyone is welcome to take part in the Good Friday Golf Challenge.
The 18-hole competition has a 7.30-8am shotgun start. It is a four-man ambrose competition, with lots of prizes up for grabs.
All participants are invited back to the Tacking Point Tavern for a presentation and lunch after the competition.
To enter, go into the Tavern and put your name down on the golfers board located in the sports bar or contact the Tavern on 6582 3939.
