GUMBY, Santa and rather colourful fairies are just a few delightful characters speckled among the crowd at Festival of the Sun.
This morning, our town was crawling with sleepy looking FOTSUNners searching for a greasy breakfast to soothe their aching heads in preparation for day two.
The 3000-strong crowd are enjoying smooth tunes from the long list of top-notch artists.
Last night Over-Reactor had festival heads banging to their loud metal meshed with hip hop sounds and articulate lads Ezekiel Ox and Cory Blight bantered with onlookers, with Ox diving into the crowd to get that extra bit up close and personal.
Phil Jamieson and Co made up The Shivering Fits and blasted out a few covers injected with reggae, rock and a hint of jazz.
Closing act Dead Letter Circus was a wicked way to cap off an incredible evening of musical magic.
Local boys Dirty Little Rebels now are just about to explode onto the main stage, followed by Nat Col and the Kings, The Cairos and Husky.
Major musical attractions Hermitude and Kimbra will hit the stage tonight to close what is already proved to be one heck of a festival.
And, in what we think is a first, Rebecca and Ben Jackson were congratulated by their guests after getting married at Festival of the Sun this morning.
Check out some photos from previous years ...
It builds nicely - from the Shivering Fits - starring our own Phil Jamieson - first up on the acoustic stage on Friday; right through to Triple J Unearthed winner Patrick James on Saturday morning; to a tough choice between 6pm and 7m on Saturday when The Datsuns will star on the main stage and Mid-North Coast star Joe Robinson will take over the acoustic stage.
Oh yes, then of course there's Hermitude and Dirty Cash DJs before Kimbra wraps up proceedings at 8.45pm on Saturday.
