Police are re-appealing for public assistance over a man reported missing from Port Macquarie. Patrick Cowan, 34, has not been seen since he left his home in Port Macquarie on Monday, October 9, 2017. Superintendent Paul Fehon fronted the media to appeal to the public to come forward with any information they may have. “Patrick went missing from his home in Port Macquarie at about 5.30 in the morning. We located his vehicle (a blue Toyota Rav4) a short time later,” he said. “We have conducted an extensive search both on land and at sea and we have come up with no signs of Patrick. We are appealing for the public not to be afraid and to come forward and provide information to Port Macquarie Police and Crime Stoppers. “We have grave concerns for Patrick, and his family are obviously very distressed. We will continue our search this weekend.” Police attached to Mid North Coast Local Area Command have conducted daily searches of the area along with numerous agencies including Marine Rescue, SES, Police Dog Unit and PolAir.
