Emergency service crews from Port Macquarie and Kempsey have combined to extinguish a truck fire on the Pacific Highway.

Fire and Rescue Kempsey along with a Rural Fire Service crew were joined by the Port Macquarie Hazmat team in the early hours of Saturday at Smiths Creek near Kundabung.
According to Fire and Rescue Port Macquarie, the truck contained grocery supplies and there were no reported hazardous materials onboard.
The truck was totally destroyed by the blaze.
Traffic was disrupted for several hours - particularly southbound - as the clean-up operation took place.
The truck crash call out was at around 3.12am.
There were no reported injuries related to this fire.
In a separate incident, a motorcyclist and a motor vehicle collided at the Pacific and Oxley highway roundabout at around 5pm on Friday afternoon.
NSW Ambulance treated a man believed to be in his 50s at the scene for head injuries.
He was transported to the Port Macquarie Base Hospital in a stable condition and was released later that evening.
