TWO people were lucky to escape serious injury after their vehicle left the Pacific Highway at high speed and rolled multiple times on Saturday morning.

The accident occurred at 6.35am on December 15 south of Port Macquarie on the Pacific Highway near the Bago exit.
Police, NSW Ambulance and the State Emergency Service was called to the scene where they found a car on its roof.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the car driven by a woman in her 60s, left the highway and flipped several times before ploughing into trees.
A 15-year-old boy who was asleep on the back seat of the car, and was unrestrained, was treated on the scene for chest pains and bleeding from the mouth, the spokesperson said.
The woman was experiencing abdominal pain and bleeding from the hand.
One of the patients was trapped in the vehicle for a short time.
Both patients were transported to Port Macquarie Base Hospital by paramedics where they were treated for minor injuries.
