On Diamond two on Saturday, Diamonds played the Local Lawyers.

The game was played in great spirit which saw Diamonds take the lead early in the game, but Lawyers hit back reversing the position.

Lawyers then surged home to win 10-7.

In division one, Warriors met Lakers in the sudden death final in a game that started slowly for Lakers.

Warriors batted strongly with Jo Bonney the stand out. Despite some good fielding by Lakers, Warriors couldn’t be contained.

Superb pitching by Chie Mathews backed up by excellent fielding by Warriors ended in Lakers bowing out for the season and Warriors progressing to the final in a 9-4 win.

In the other match, Port Phoenix took on Enduro in a match that would see the winner go through to the grand final.

Enduro in the first innings scored one run showing Phoenix they meant business.

Phoenix batter Chantelle Seears was the first to bat and hit to centre field giving her team the start they needed.

With determination, Phoenix put three runs in, followed by another two after a home run by Courtney Owen.

Tash Swain pitched a tight game for Phoenix and was well backed by her team to keep Enduro unable to score another run.

Phoenix took out the win 7-1.
