Man collapses and dies in water at Hat Head
A report is being prepared for the information of the Coroner into the death of a man on the mid north coast on February 18.

Emergency services were called to a boat ramp at Hat Head, east of Kempsey, after a 24-year-old man collapsed while swimming shortly after 4pm.
The man’s girlfriend dragged him unconscious from the water and members of the public began CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, the man died at the scene.
Police from the Mid North Coast Police District will prepare a report for the information of the NSW Coroner.
It’s believed the man is from Kempsey.
