Stephie is an 8-month-old Irish wolfhound cross German shepherd looking for a new home and family with experience taking care of a large breed.
She is a sweet dog and if given the chance will be on your lap. But nobody would tell her she is too big for this!
Stephie has minimal training but does sit when asked, so she will probably do well with more training. She does jump up when she gets excited so if you have small children she may not be the dog for your family. But children who are used to big dogs will be fine.
Stephie seems okay with other dogs so please bring any dog currently at home in to meet her if you wish them to be friends.
Naturally you will need to take Stephie for regular walks, but not long walks while her bones are still developing.
Her coat is wiry like a wolfie so she won’t shed too much, but regular grooming will help keep her looking her best. She cannot be placed on hold so come in today to meet her. She is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, heart worm treated and will cost $320 to adopt.
The RSPCA has a number of kittens like Poppy, looking for homes. They range from 10 weeks to four months and there are lots of different colours and temperaments.
The best idea is to come and visit them and see if one is right for you. All have short coats which means little grooming is needed.
If you’re on the lookout for a new family member come in for a look. Kittens cannot be placed on hold so be quick and come in today.
All kittens are desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, litter trained and will cost $170 each to adopt.
All pets are housed at the RSPCA shelter at 10 Karungi Crescent. The shelter is open six days a week from 10am until 3.30pm and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, or call 6581 0380. All RSPCA animals can be viewed on www.adoptapet.com.au and click onto the Port Macquarie site.
