Winners of the two-ball with a great 49 points were Jeff Davis and Peter Welsh. Runners up were Brad Hawkins and Greg Clark with 48 points on a count back from Paul Atkins and John Tracey.
Winner in A grade was Garry Kemp with 42 points on a count back from runner up Terry Jones. Winner in B grade was John Tracey with 40 points on a count back from runner up Kevin Byrnes.
Winner in C grade was Ben Howarth with a terrific 44 points. Runner up was John Beresford with 40 points. James Single had an eagle two on the par four seventeenth hole.
Winner of the scratch score was Paul Hanson with a one over par round for 35 points. The ball competition went down to 34 points on a count back.
Nearest to the pin went to Rob Hollins, Nicholas Smith, Chris Lockwood and John Puddick.
Saturday at Port Macquarie Golf Club was a single stableford. Winner in A grade was Nick Scaysbrook with 38 points on a count back from Phil Pye and Regan Betteridge. Pye took out runner up and Betteridge took out third place. Winner in B grade was Graham Nichols with 41 points.
Runner up was Les Murphy with 40 points and third was Paul Atkins with 38 points on a count back from Rod Noble.
Winner in C grade was Neil Chapman with 40 points. Runner up was Marty Wallis with 38 points on a count back from third placed Peter Doyle.
Winner of the scratch score was Stefan Walker with a par round for 36 points.The ball competition went to 33 points on a count back.
Nearest to the pin went to Rod Noble, George Searson, Terry Jones and Jonathon Toombs.
Action will take place again on Thursday where pundits will take to the course in good conditions.
