As was the case at the start of the week, a high pressure system is sweeping across the south of Australia.
This is causing large swells and rough conditions that are not expected to ease until the weekend.
The fetch - a massive stretch of ocean which extends south to Tasmania – is encouraging the swell to build significantly.
Port Macquarie will otherwise be calm, with temperatures expected to reach 27 degrees with south-westerly winds.
Head lifeguard James Turnham has reiterated the importance of staying out of the water, even at knee height.
“We urge no one to enter the water and if anyone sees anyone in distress please call triple-0,” he said.
