The Big Bash League club will be represented at Town Beach on September 27 between 10am and midday as they aim to continue to grow their supporter base.
Cricket NSW North Coast development manager Martin Garoni said last year’s visit with Women’s Big Bash League player Emily Leys was sold out in near-record time.
“There are a hundred spots which filled up very quickly last year,” he said.
“We thought it worked well last year so we’ll keep the same format.”
Garoni was hopeful one or two of the Sixers Big Bash League male players would be available.
Players Nick Larkin and Ben Dwarshuis will be on the Mid North Coast at the start of next month for school visits ahead of the upcoming season.
“It’s a great opportunity for families to see the fun involved with Big Bash cricket and the colour and excitement,” Garoni said.
“We want to try and attract some new players for the season ahead – hopefully there might be some nippers down on the beach that we can recruit.”
