Senior Constable Heath Morgan received the community award for his work as a dedicated frontline police officer who has been involved at many levels of policing.
Snr Cst Morgan works at the Kempsey station with highway patrol.
Leading Senior Constable Tim Williams was acknowledged for his dedication to the service and his compassion.
His citation read that colleagues described him as a frontline officer who personifies outstanding service to the community and his peers and shows continued dedication to duty.
Superintendent Paul Fehon said the awards were an acknowledgement of the significant contribution Snr Cst Morgan and Snr Sgt Williams had made to policing during their careers.
“These awards recognise the good work of our police and show that we work with dignity and honour.
"The awards show outstanding acts of courtesy, understanding, compassion, courage and devotion to duty with the police ranks and also the wider community.”
The community award category is judged by the public while fellow police officer are the judges in the peer awards.
The Mid North Coast Local Area Command includes the police stations at Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Laurieton, Comboyne, Ellenborough, Kempsey, South West Rocks, Gladstone, Crescent Head, Bellbrook, Nambucca Heads, Macksville & Bowraville
Spt Paul Fehon said the awards were an acknowledgement for the wonderful service performed each and every day by police officers.
“All this is done in sometimes confronting and often dangerous situations,” he said.
“Each officer today deserves to be recognised for their service and their efforts.
"They should all be extremely proud," he said.
